She has played Deborah Gallagher, on Shameless (from 2011-2021) in addition to Harris Conner Healy, in the series tenth and following seasons on Roseanne. Kenney was a New York City native born in September 1999. She has parents Gillian Kenney, a criminal defense attorney, as well as Kevin Kenney, a sports writer, who previously wrote in the New York Post and now is employed by Fox Sports. Emma Kenney shares the same birthplace as Emmy Rossum, her Shameless co-star. Kenney was born in Manhattan. She plays Debbie the shrewd daughter in Shameless the upcoming Showtime TV show. She spent most of her childhood in Jersey. Kenney was also well known as Darlene Gilbert's daughter, Harris and was a part of The Roseanne revival.
