Harry Edward Styles - also called Harry Styles - is a British musician and composer. Harry Styles has been acknowledged as the composer to The One Direction band. The band is based in Holmes Chapel in Cheshire England, Styles is the child of Des Styles & Anne Cox. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, where together with his three classmates, he founded his own band called White Eskimo. They were the winners of the Battle of Bands in 2009 with their amazing performance. Though he's been fascinated by music, he was also hoping to be an attorney or physiotherapist. He was employed in a local bakery part-time to help his family financially. Harry Styles auditioned for The X Factor in 2010 and performed Is not She Lovely, the Stevie Wonder song. He got selected. Due to this, the group he was in had to be disbanded. Nicole Scherzinger proposed to Harry Styles to be a part of a new band called One Direction. The other band members included Liam Payne Zayn Mallik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. The group's creation was a fact in 2010, and the five young people were supported by Simon Cowell. In the contest, the group sang songs such as My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler so the group became one of the candidates to win the contest. However, they finished third, a place behind Rebecca Ferguson. However, Harry Styles and his group did not win Cowell signed a deal worth 2 million pounds for One Direction to sign with the Syco Record label.
