Laura Linney

Laura Linney, born February 5th, 1964 in New York, U.S.A. has been an American actress known for portraying strong but vulnerable characters. Linney was brought up in a family of actors because her father Romulus Linney plays a writer. Linney graduated from Brown University in 1986 and then went on to study at the Arts Theatre School in Moscow and then graduated in the Juilliard School (M.F.A.) New York City, 1990. Her first appearance was in shows on Broadway before receiving acclaim for her performance of Six Degrees of Separation and Hedda Gabler.
